XTREME ARE THE 2011 16U WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS!!!!!!

Wilson Xtreme vs Hamburg, Arkansas --- Wilson Xtreme on top 9 - 5
Caroline Smith received the Ron Tellefsen player of the game award.

Wilson Xtreme vs Osawatomie, Kansas --- Wilson Xtreme on top 10 - 0
Morgan Renfrow received the Ron Tellefsen player of the game award.

Wilson Xtreme vs Levittown, New York --- Wilson Xtreme on top 7 - 3
Caroline Smith received the Ron Tellefsen player of the game award.

Wilson Xtreme vs Burlington, Colorada ---Wilson Xtreme on top 9 - 0
Monique Ransome received the Ron Tellefsen player of the game award.  

  This puts them 4 - 0 and undefeated in pool play. 
This earns them the National Division Champion title! 


The top 3 teams from each pool advance to double elimination play.  This puts 6 teams in contention for the 2011 16U World Series Title.  The Wilson Xtreme brought home the 2009 12U World Series Title.  Henderson/Vance brought home the 2010 16U World Series Title.  How cool would it be for ENC to have a 3rd World Series Title in as many years?  Awesome that's how cool it would be!

Wilson Xtreme faced off against Hamburg, Arkansas for their first bracket game of the 16U World Series.  The Xtreme came out out on top of the game with a 5 - 0 win over Arkansas.  Madison Ward received the Ron Tellefsen player of the game award.

The Xtreme faced off against Levittown, New York today for the second time during this World Series for their second bracket game.   This game stayed tight the entire time, but Xtreme held Levittown off for the win with a final score of 1 - 0.  This puts Xtreme at a 6 - 0 record in the World Series and places them in the championship game on Saturday.  The Xtreme can't finish worse than runner up now.  We of course are certainly hoping for a champ out of this though!  Nickie Womble received the Ron Tellefsen player of the game award.

Wow what a nail biter of a game!  Xtreme trailed in this game for only the second time in the World Series.  But in the end they pulled out a hard fought 6 - 4 win to take home the big prize.  ENC has a World Series Title holder for the 3rd year in a row!  Way to go Xtreme!  Monique Ransom and Breanna Brown received the Ron Tellefsen player of the game award.
